Evan Black, a master's student in the civil engineering program and last year's BGSA president, graduated on December 18th. He already has a B.S in Physics and is from Stone Mountain, GA. Congratulations and good luck!
PJ and Jessica will be completing their PhDs in human-centered computing at the University of Florida and Shiree will be completing her PhD in computer science at Florida Atlantic University.
BGSA has partnered with Clemson's Homework Center to ensure volunteers are present everyday to help the middle school and high school students with their homework. So far BGSA members have volunteered over 50 hours.
This holiday season BGSA collected 12 toys to help make sure children in need have a gift this Christmas . BGSA also collected an array of winter clothing, including coats, hats and gloves and donated these items to a local church to help residents stay warm this winter. We thank our members for their generosity!
